If you’re looking for Christmas gifts for a Trekkie than take a look at these winter wonders from Lovarzi. As we state in our vblog review, we are cautious when people ask us to review their products – mostly because we don’t want to be in the awkward position of having to saying anything negative should we believe the product be worthy of disposable by a garbage scow!
Fortunately we were relieved to discover that the Umbrella’s and Scarf’s on offer from Lovarzi were good quality so we were happy to give them an honest review.
Available to buy direct from Lovarzi whilst stock lasts … Perfect for this British weather!
We can’t stop raving about it! The full range is available online and in stores now and we can’t help ourselves! Check out our vblog review!

In this episode of the Trekkie Girls we pay tribute to Anton Yelchin, weigh in on the Gay Sulu drama (aka ‘it’s OK to be Takei but not Sulu apparently!’) and show off our new ‘Monster Maroon’ Starfleet uniforms.
The Trekkie Girls discuss Star Trek news from the week including Destinations Star Trek’s announcement that Wil Wheaton will be attending their convention, the (now verified) fake Star Trek New Series poster and news that Star Trek Beyond had been reshooting scenes.
The announcements regarding the New Star Trek Series are beginning to read like a Trekkies dream team from an internet forum. Next they’ll be telling us they’ve signed up William Shatner and Patrick Stewart. They’ll be no complaints here!
We can’t help but fan girl over the latest news that Eugene ‘Rod’ Roddenberry has been named Executive Producer.
Check out our reaction here:
The series now boasts five executive producers, in addition to Rod there’s also Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Trevor Roth and Bryan Fuller.
It’s like they want us to like it!
Then of course there’s the news that Nicholas Meyer has joined the series on the writing staff. Known for directing (and co-writing, uncredited) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, co-writing Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and co-writing and directing Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
So we have a good mixture of producers and writers that cover all aspects of the Star Trek Universe. From Meyer who worked on TOS Movies, Kurtzman of the JJ-Verse, Bryan Fuller knows the 24th century Prime Universe and Roddenberry who is the son of Trek and is known for being grounded and understanding of the fan base.
To be treated as rumour only, Tony Todd (Kurn, Old Jake Sisko) has revealed that he is on a ‘very short casting list’ for the new series. He also said we’d have to wait until the forth quarter this year until we get any glimpse of official casting. More info on Trekcore.
Is anyone else starting to think Star Trek: The New Series has a nice ring to it??
